Kasier Chiefs's Nick Hodgson has revealed his new album

Kasier Chiefs drummer and songwriter Nick Hodgson has revealed that his new album, his father's battle with Alzheimer's due to be recording it.

This month the group released 'The Future Is Medieval' is surprised by the fan, while its will be released officially on June 27.

Unlike traditional release, their album set that enables fans to create their own artwork to friends and then to sell their creations.

Hodgson admitted that his father's illness had affected the album sounds dark.

He said, “Obviously, that changes things because, music just feels irrelevant and becomes sort of peripheral”.

“A year ago I wasn’t even really thinking about music much at all. I was messing about in my studio, but I wasn’t particularly focused. If your heads not there, your heads not there.

“When you do write you can’t help but write from the mindset you’re in at the time.”

Kaiser Chiefs fans to their "album" and sharing profits to download

THE Kaiser Chiefs fans to their "album" and sharing profits to download it if anyone.

It costs at least €8.50 to select 10 out of 20 tracks on their latest release The Future is Medieval and design a cover for the alternative compilation.

The I Predict a Riot band, led by singer Ricky Wilson, said they will expressed the hope that this album in the market “revitalise and subvert”.

They added: “This will offer new music immediately to fans, allowing them to hear the record at the same time as media and critics, as well as letting them be the Kaiser Chiefs’ A&R people.”
