Kasier Chiefs drummer and songwriter Nick Hodgson has revealed that his new album, his father's battle with Alzheimer's due to be recording it.
This month the group released 'The Future Is Medieval' is surprised by the fan, while its will be released officially on June 27.
Unlike traditional release, their album set that enables fans to create their own artwork to friends and then to sell their creations.
Hodgson admitted that his father's illness had affected the album sounds dark.
He said, “Obviously, that changes things because, music just feels irrelevant and becomes sort of peripheral”.
“A year ago I wasn’t even really thinking about music much at all. I was messing about in my studio, but I wasn’t particularly focused. If your heads not there, your heads not there.
“When you do write you can’t help but write from the mindset you’re in at the time.”
