Kaiser Chiefs are working on new album since one and a half year on their fourth studio album.
Speaking to the Daily Star, drummer Nick Hodgson claimed that it was "all going in the right direction".
“We’re busy. The writing started a long time ago, like a year-and-a-half ago. It’s just been on a nice steady pace because we’ve had a lot of time off."
Ricky Wilson added: "It's really good to be working again. Plectrum sales are definitely on the up."
They last released album in 2008's 'Off With Their Heads' and the band will finish their break from touring with an appearance at the Gurten Festival in Switzerland in July.
